Freecycle, meet friends. Friends, meet Freecycle. Perhaps you already know one another.I LOVE Freecycle. It's an online network of local folks who give each other stuff for free. Really, that's all there is to it.
Have some Frosty the Snowman toothpicks you want to get rid of? Post an offer, and someone will respond, saying, "Sweet! I was really in need of some. I'll be over by 5." Leave it on your front stoop, and it's gone.
Or, maybe you need some snowpants for young Stanley but don't feel like putting out the cash right now. A simlpe post, and snowpants you will receive.
I can't begin to list the crap I have unloaded on Freecycle, but I can share some of the awesome stuff I've scored:
-A bread machine in like new condition
-About a zillion Matchbox cars
-Toy dinosaurs
-A big bottle of Dreft detergent
-Wooden train tracks and Thomas trains
-Tons of coupons!
Every Freecycle group is different- some are very buy, some not so much. If you haven't already, check it out! Let us know what you think!

How do you get coupons on freecycle? I've tried but apparently it's illegal to ask for a coupon on my local freecycle.
Bummer Kris- Sometimes, people offer, I offer them, too. I've requested a couple of times too- I guess each FC has it's own rules. That seems odd to me, though!

Our freecycle won't list coupons either. It seems to go by each area. I have a feeling some sites might get inundated with them.
