Because holy cow, I just scored 5 boxes of oatmeal for $2.00.Here's how.
Quaker oatmeal is on sale for $2 a box. If you buy 5, you can use the $3 off coupon that is in this week's circular.
There were $1 off coupons in last week's newspaper. I had 2 (Some people have asked how I get multiple copies of coupons- I get a Saturday local paper and the Sunday Globe. I also get extras from my mom and sometimes on Freecycle), but then noticed a blinkie (those coupon dispensers that are in the store) with MORE $1 off coupons!!! Lucky day! I pulled 3.
So, to recap- I bought:
5 boxes of Quaker oatmeal for $2 each.
I used a $3 off 5 coupon in the Shaw's circular, making that 5 boxes for $7.
Then, I used 5 $1 off coupons, bringing my total to $2.
Sweet! This deal ends tomorrow.

Also, you can go onto the Shaw's website and under internet coupons they have instore coupons that usually are for items that are already on sale!! For instance the Quaker granola bars are on sale plus there is a $1.00 off 2 in there. The Plumrose Bacon is buy1 get1 and there is a $1.00 off 2, so you are getting 2 pkgs. for approx. 2.25.
That's amazing! It makes sense when you explain it, but I never would have thought of being able to use all those different coupons for the same thing. You're a genius!
