We had a gift card and a coupon, so we lived it up at our local Friendly's.(How sad is it that once kids come around, Friendly's is considered a big night out?)

I miss Friendly's. I only get there now if I'm in New England for business. The ones in Cincy and Indy are gone. So I think a dinner at Friendly's IS a big deal!!
We're psyched that now that we have a kid Friendly's is "acceptable" again! It didn't stop us before though.
