I've been up front about my obsession with Arnold Sandwich Thins. Here's the thing- even on sale, I usually don't see them for less than around $2.50. I was lamenting this at my weekend Weight Watchers meeting when a fellow member piped up, "Katy- you should check out the bakery outlet... they have them cheap there."
I was like, "DUDE! Stop talking! You're not supposed to admit you go to a friggin' bakery outlet at Weight Watchers!" But then I nudged in and asked for more info.
So the bakery outlet- it carries more than just Twinkies and donuts. The kids and I decided to go for a ride. It was on the other side of the city, but let me tell you- these prices will make it worth a once a month trek to fill the freezer with cheap English muffins, bread (because I'm getting tired of making it ALL the time), bagels, and HELLO... Sandwich Thins. Then get this- because I spent more than $20, they took 10% off. All in all, my bag of 8 Sandwich Thins was $1.35- that was without any coupons- I'm not sure if they take them and (Gasp!) I forgot to ask.
So here's a link- put in your zip and see if there is one of these little Paradise spots near you. It's worth the trip!

Ooh, there's one in Natick! That might be fun to check out after one of my many, many trips to the mall :-)
I've heard of a Wonder outlet in Braintree. I had a coupon for a free loaf of bread so I've been meaning to check it out. We had a Pepperidge Farm outlet near me growing up. Such good stuff!!!
When I was kid we would always go to the Wonder outlet in Braintree. That brings back some memories. I might just take a ride over there this week.
Mom used to take me to the bakery outlet....all the time.
You always were her favorite, Amy.
I'm reading this saying Pepperidge Farm Thrift store... doesn't she remember? then lol when I saw Amy's comment. I did get those Sandwich Thins for 2.22 at Stop and Shop a couple of weeks ago...and gifted you a pack... and then I scored some free stuff from you!
I have an Aunt Millie's and Hostess bakery outlet in my town! Aunt Millie's has this fabulous bread that has 6 grams of fiber per slice! YUM!

No dice here- but we have other outlets! I wonder if I can trust myself to just buy the bread and english muffins and such, I mean how can I walk by discount donuts gems?
I'm not sure if we have a bakery outlet here, but we have lots of those little bread outlet stores. I don't buy my bread in the regular grocery store anymore because it is just too darn expensive! We also don't eat bread that much, so the last time I shopped for bread was 2 months ago and at that time I got three loaves of whole wheat and three bags of bagels for less than $10! Totally worth the savings!
