Day 16: I HAD to Break my Challenge... Back on Track Tomorrow

I had to buy diapers today. My baby has a really bad rash and has been wearing disposables this weekend. We use cloth diapers on both kids, but when they get a rash, they need to wear disposables so I can slather on cream. They hardly ever get rashes (cloth diapers are great!), so they don't use many disposables- I usually only buy a few packs a couple times a year.

So when I realized I was about to run out of disposables, I had to get some more. The health of my kid's butt was on the line.

But, I didn't spend any money. I used Extrabucks and a coupon. So I'm still at $0 spent this month.

Oh, and for dinner tonight, we had the weird Turkey Porcupines. I used frozen ground chicken- We have a lot of ground chicken and turkey in the freezer, so I'll be using more of it this week!

this cracks me up. you're so honest!

what happens if you have extra bucks that will expire before the end of the month. surely you won't let that happen, right?

This was a no extrabuck purchase.
But to answer your question Patty- Heck no! I' buy something for the food pantry.

(I am grossly honest... I annoy myself sometimes)
