I just got my CSA. It's full... of... VEGETABLES. ARRRRRRRRGH! There were four apples, and I already ate one. Doat! It's going to be a veg-tastic week.Anyone have any good kale recipes? Any suggestions for getting a two year old to eat turnip?
Oh well. Just adds to my challenge, I guess.
Tonight I worked, and my mom was in charge of feeding the kids. Apparently, dinner was Totinos pizza rolls and hummus. Go Grandma!

do the whole puree thing. Puree the vegetables and put it in something. Like Puree the turnip and mix in into pancake batter or mac n cheese!
That was one sad box of "fruit"and vegetables. I'd use it for the next snowman! I am bringing my own pizza rolls next week in case that kale is hidden in something!!
I should have a ton of recipes on my blog for kale... right now the one I'm thinking of is a kale and chorizo soup that's pretty good, but I think I have others too.
FoodNetwork.com is a great resource - put in the ingredients that you want to use in the search bar and it will give you a list of recipes. I do this a lot when I have things that I know are going bad soon and need to be used up, and I've found some great recipes! I typically look for the Rachael Ray ones - they're quick and easy and I've almost never found one I didn't like.
