I haven't shopped much at CVS in the past 6 months or so because the deals just haven't been as good as they used to be BUT I had an old school style CVS run today and had to share it with someone who might actually care. ;o)
First, I had one of these $25 CVS gift cards for filling a new prescription. (Is it wrong that I get excited when I actually have a new prescription?)
I used $10-something of the gift card to get the Revlon mousse mineral foundation yesterday which generated a $9.99 ECB
I did the boring quiz and got the sweet $5/25 coupon, matched up the deals and headed in.
I got: 2 - Huggies Supreme size 1 40ct (stocking up for baby on the way!)-used 2 - $3 off Huggies Pure and Natural coupons (which work with any Huggies) 2 - Old Spice High Endurance - used $1 off 2 coupon from paper 1 - Coppertone Nutrashield Sunblock - used $5 coupon I found on wickedcooldeals 1 - Soleil cartidge 4ct - used $3 coupon from paper 1 - spring water (we were on our way to the park on a hot, hot day) 1 - CVS brand toddler flushable wipes
Total before discounts: $42-something Total after coupons/sales/5 on 25 and 10.00 in ECB: $10.88 (which I also used the gift card for) ECBs generated: $10
So for filling a prescription ($8 copay) CVS has given me: Foundation, 2 packs of diapers, 2 deodorants, sunblock, razor cartridges, toddler wipes, a bottle of water, $10 ECB and about $5 left on the gift card. Nuts!
wish I would have seen this last week. I would have gotten two packs of diapers in addition to the razors we got there. Oh well. At least I still have time to use them. :) Thanks for sharing Katy!
