She had a lot of advice- some of the same, but some new stuff too (I never knew some stores will honor coupons retroactively- like if you get a coupon after you buy something you bring it in with your receipt).
Best by far though, was her answer to people who say they don't have time to use coupons. I hear this all the time, and usually say something like, "Oh well. I guess you need to choose if it's worth your time," then follow up with some sort of statement on how clipping takes me an hour a week but saves me $50+ and I think that's a good income.
But Ms. House- he answer was better. She just looked the sceptic in the eye and said, "Then you've never been broke enough."
Love it!

Nice! I like that last part! You know what really irks me? When people say they don't clip coupons because "they eat healthy stuff and coupons are for the most part for processed or junk food."
I've seen and had a lot of coupons for "healthy" stuff - yogurt, cheese, milk, butter, orange juice, even Dole whole pineapples had a .75/1 MFC on coupons.com a week ago!, Cascadia Farms brand, pork tenderloin, Domino Sugar (maybe not healthy, but we all need sugar in the house!), etc.
