So, shockingly, I had all of the ingredients to make this
shrimp salad for dinner last night... well, except the raisins. Oh, and I used oranges instead of tangerines. Ironically, I had tangerines yesterday morning, but Rob brought them to work. Bottom line, this was good. Probably a better summertime food, but whatever- it's good.
Tonight, we had a Sloppy Joe Pie- recipe care of Celeste's adorable blog
Itty Bitty Bistro. We used Bisquick instead of Celeste's whole wheat biscuit recipe. Parents- CHECK THIS BLOG OUT. It's great. Sure, everyone EXCEPT my two year old loved the dinner... his loss.

I always leave out raisins. Especially golden raisins. Yuck!
Glad you tried the sloppy joe pie! I have to admit that more times than seems reasonable the Mommy's like the "toddler food" more than the toddlers. Ah well. At least they aren't getting dino nuggets every night. (However, mine WILL be having nuggets for lunch today.) ;o)
Okay, how do you find awesome recipes to fit random ingredients? Awe. some.
Ooh! I haven't thought about using Bisquick for stuff like this!! I heart Itty Bitty Bistro!
So, Katy, are you finding that you are more open to trying recipes that you normally wouldn't because of this challenge and trying to use what you already have?
