Nothing much

is jumping out at me for sales this week. Sometimes, this happens, and I take a rest. My basement is well stocked, we have dinner for the week, I'm all set to brush my teeth for a year or so, so this week, I won't be shopping.

That's not to say there AREN'T deals to be had- just nothing leaping out at me.

How about you? What got you excited in the Sunday paper this week? Leave your finds/plan in the comments section. Maybe I can be inspired to trudge out in the cold... :)

I loved a lot of the coupons this week..Not any to use this week but for the future..I haven't gone out at all this week and will probably stay low key as well.

Check your CVS end of aisle markdowns...90% off shampoo. .33 each CVS brand. Pantene.90 at mine.

I ditto BandB. Lots of great, great coupons, but I'll be saving them. Although if your printer ink is low, Walgreens is refilling for $5 (usually $10) with a $5 rebate = free.

Ah! Nicole! Thanks for reminding me- I wanted to post that! That is the one thing I'm stepping out for this week!

I don't know if you have Meijer where you live, but this week they have Sargento cheese (regular price 4.09/bag) on sale for 1.89. AND, I had two coupons for 1.00 off two bags. I got four bags of shredded cheese for 5.56...way cheaper than the store brand I usually buy. Is it crazy I'm this excited about cheese? (Oh, and thanks to your tip about the coupons at Walgreen's, I actually SAVED more than I SPENT! I'm having fun!)

Not sure who has ShopKo's - tons of Buy One Get One - bookshelves, rugs, bakewear, etc. Nothing to do with coupons...just a good time to get any 'bigger' items.

Okay, this is really no big thing...just a milestone for me. I got my very first free product using coupons on Sunday. Quaker rice cakes were on sale for $1, and I had a .50 coupon the Fry's doubled. They DID taste sweeter, I will say :)

WORK IT, Dawn! Nothing tastes as good as free. :)
