For a beginners guide to using the CVS Extra Bucks program, check out this post on Money Saving Mom.
Today and tomorrow are GREAT DAYS to try out CVS, because they are literally giving stuff away. I'm not talking about fridge magnets and chip clips here, I'm talking good, useful stuff.
Once I am shoveled out, I'll be making the trip.
Here's what's on my list:
-Listerine
-cough drops
-nail polish
-heating pad (for when good ol' Rob is done shoveling)
-Excederin (because Ty just turned two and enjoys yelling)
-eye shadow
-Benefiber... because I have a coupon and it will actually MAKE me $2.00... and really, who among us can't use some extra fiber?
I expect to pay about $1 or $2 out of pocket, and come home with all that stuff and $12 in coupons... I'll post an update later in the day. But in the meantime, check your Sunday paper for all the deals!

Different areas of the country must have different policies. Here in TN, your extra bucks (to be be spent at CVS are printed out every 3 months...the only other coupons printed are "$2 off on $15 CVS brand purchase" as an example. HOWEVER, they usually have BOGO on vitamins and CVS products like ibuprofin and sometimes skin care products. Their brand items are good.
